Srushti Dehmukh was preparing to sit for UPSC when she was in her 3rd stage of her engineer degree. When she graduated, she wondered if engineering could make her feel happy. Then she realized that her dream job was within the civil service, and she started to focus on it. The parents of her advised her to study for civil services and pursue it a profession serving the public. Her focus was on becoming a IAS officer. The job required to be an IAS officer is much more. She was also preparing for UPSC examinations while studying engineering. Every day, she set aside the time to study for exams. She mastered the engineering examinations in only one-and-ahalf months, avoiding social life. Her focus is crucial to be able to pass the test for government jobs and work within the civil service. She set out to make it to the end of the process quickly, so she was able to put in a lot of effort. Each day she would was reading the paper to stay updated with the current news. She also got a lot of support online by collecting various study materials and watching Rajya Sabha TV.
