Anna Silk

Anna Silk, born January 31st 1974 in Fredericton New Brunswick Canada, is a Canadian actress best known for playing Bo on The Showcase series Lost Girl. Silk was born in Fredericton New Brunswick Canada. Ilkay Silk and Peter Silk are the fathers of Silk. Ilkay is a playwright and director and plays the role of drama instructor on the drama department at St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna holds some of her earliest memories of watching television and attending play rehearsals. Silk was featured in a variety of commercials while she was just a child. She was a graduate of St. Thomas University with the Bachelor of Arts degree in 1997. Theatre St. Thomas has produced two productions in the early years: Seven Menus and The Kitchen. Silk made the move to Toronto to further her acting career in the month of November 1999, and during the next decade, she moved into Los Angeles California. Seth Cooperman met Silk at an Actors Workshop held in Los Angeles, in 2007. The couple was engaged in 2009, and then married at a civil ceremony that took place in December. The couple was married on April 10, 2011. renewed their vows at an Jewish celebration in Fredericton following her conversion to Judaism. Silk was blessed with a son who was named Samuel Jerome Cooperman on May 13th, 2013. Levi Aaron was her second born baby on May 13, the 13th of May, 2016. Silk's work on television includes the role of Cassidy Holland in Being Erica and she won an Gemini Awards nomination in 2009. She landed a principal role in the role of Bo Dennis, a succubus and a succubus on the television show Lost Girl. Silk revealed to her followers that she was pregnant at the beginning of January 2013, during the Showcase Season Three Special. Silk tweeted on June 20, 2013 that she is ready to resume working. The 4th of June 2013 Showcase and Prodigy Pictures officially revealed the launch of production of the fourth season. CNN Cable News Network named Bo together with Lauren Zoie Palmer as the same-sex couple on Lost Girl to be one of its favorite TV Couples ever. E! Magazine declared the couple as one of the Top Television Couples of 2013 Entertainment Television. Silk is the result, and its growing popularity on social networks has gained a significant online fan base.
